Were Going to the Bakers Expo (IBIE)
As you may or may not know, the International Bakers Expo “IBIE” will take place on the 7th through the 11th of next month (September). And let me tell you, here at Dough Tech we are fully excited to go peruse the booths there and catch up on the newest baking trends and the newest machinery to hit the industry.
We will be on the lookout for new machines, new processes, new recipes and new information for us to bring back with us and help us grow as a company. We feel that IBIE is not only important to us, but very important to the industry because it brings people from all over the world to one location, to all talk about the same thing; baking. Whether that be the equipment or processes used, everyone is talking about baking, and we love that.
On a personal note, I’m really looking forward to pretty much everything this show has to offer. From the Innovations Showcase where you can see all the latest and greatest new equipment and processes, to the fresh baked goodies a lot of places will have to offer, IBIE will give me a chance to rub elbows and hang out with some of the best bakers and innovators in the world for 5 days straight. This show is of a big deal for me because it’s a chance for me to get to see what all the other people in the industry are making and selling, and you really can’t put a price on that. If you haven’t noticed, I’m very excited and I hope to see you there.
